I think so. Here was a year in my life no joke
April wife's sister killed in car accident
3 days later wife has miscarriage
May mother goes in hospital for breasts lump
June cousin has lump in throat
August Grandma dies
September dad has triple bypass
October sister has miscarriage
December dad diagnosed with cancer
March dad dies
April mom rushed to hospital for emergency surgery
So I think I can safely say ,yeah I can take it.

Tell me do you really have a choice. I have been in some pretty adverse situations not knowing if I am going to live through the next 5 min, on many occasions. But as you lay there dying thats not what is on your mind , all you want is the ambulance to get there, the reflective moments are always later. I know I am tough enough to get through them, dont sneer , are you? Everything else except dying is childs play and pretty menial and unless you have been in a life and death situation as the victim then you have no idea really. Those of you who have been I commend you. Toughness though needs to be metered out with sensitivity, compassion and fairness . You dont know what life can dish out until your very survival is in question.

Yes I can, lost my father when I was an infant, then when I grew up I lost my infant daughter , I feel that seeings as I managed my way thru both of those without ending up in the rubber room that anything else would be like a walk in the park...

Ya pretty much. Where I live the locals are so stupid that it seems everyday I have to come up with a new solution to deal with their immense inability to function as normal human beings. So ya I have had a lot of practice in dealing with stupidity of other people.

No, only recently have I realised how reliant I am on my real friends to help me through life.
I need someone to support me. I am a really emotionally weak person!!

Yup. It may get me down, once in a while, but not for long. I get right back up, prepared to fight back. I'm a mom, so I don't have the luxury of staying down for a rest, and I don't think I'd want to anyway.
