x= n*pi + atan(2) where n is an integer.

sinx/cosx = 2.

So

tanx = 2

x = atan(2). Plug into calculator. However, note that this anwer plus any multiple of 180 degrees is also an answer.

Divide both sides by cos x, giving tan x = 2.

tan x = 2
x = 63.4° , x = 243.4°
x = 1.11 radians , x = 4.25 radians
