I've been hanging around this one girl a lot. We do a lot of group things together. She's very popular, and gets a text or call on her cell phone like every 5 minutes. So she is constantly opening and closing her purse. When she opened her purse one time, something shiny caught my eye. I did not get a good peak at it, so I got closer and waited for her to put her phone back. I looked in, and it was a pair of handcuffs. All I could tell is that they we're not the furry ones, they were all metal. But maybe they were a toy. One of her friends comes running in and says to come here real quick. She does and forgets her purse. I looked in (did not touch anything) and they were real handcuffs, not toys at all. I walked in and gave her the purse she left. I've noticed these everytime I see her open her purse now. Last week, just me and her saw a movie. Before the movie, she went in her purse to turn off her phone, and they were there still. Why would she have them?

Is there any logical reason to having them? Should I be scared? I'm scared to ask her, cause she might think I've been going through her purse and maybe handcuff me.

It could be a joke thing, I wouldn't be worried about them. I used to have a pair of hand cuffs on my car mirror because it was an inside joke. You'd be surprised how many people have them, so if you are realy worried about it just ask her I'm sure she won't care.

Well, it could be one of four things..
1) They make her feel safe
2) She likes to be cuffed
3) She likes to do the cuffing
4) They were a gag gift from a friend and she hasn't cleaned out her purse yet (believe me, it's a woman thing)
You could always just ask her jokingly; you may get a good laugh out of it :-)

Trust me, they were a toy.

Then again, everything is a toy if you know how to use it right.

With a handle like "Paintrain" it sounds like you have nothing to be afraid of.

No, don't be scared. Be prepared to be dominated.
