One of the more slavering Bush apologists on this site (we'll call him "MD 20-20" to preserve his anonymity) recently parroted a right wing slogan. I looked into this slogan because I've heard it so many times. It's the idea that anyone who points out the failure of the current president is a "Bush hater," "sickened," even "obsessed." I wondered where that came from. Here it is:

I looked into the Newt Gingrich GOPAC memo referenced in that article. Here's a slice of it:

The words contained therin are quite illuminating. How often have you heard them in the past decade? A political action committee outlined words and phrases that can be used to control small minded people. And you guys bought it, hook, line and sinker.

When are you going to wake up?

They won't wake up - they'll just become more bitter and angry as time goes on. Sad really.

Nice links, thanks.

Anyone with a half ounce of brain would have realized this already; all you have to do is read the answers from the "Bush apologists" on YA!. They do not discuss the finer points of politics; they do not answer questions; they do not deliniate their stances; they do not explain their choices. For the ost part, they call we Liberals names, and say "terrorist" a lot.

Great "find"! How did you go about looking for it?

What makes you think that the democrats don't use those same words and phrases? I wonder why Ted Kennedy didn't blame the Vietnam fiasco on "White House fraud"?

I voted for him and supported him twice and it has sickened me. He is selling us out to Mexico, I'd Still voted for him given the two choices we had in 2000 and 04. we would not have had this problem if we had elected Dole.

When are you going to realize that Democrats are all 50 times worse than Bush and that he goes bowling with them and has sleepovers at their house in his footy pajamas.
