I mean, we have no proof. Do you think it's at least possible (however unlikely it may be) that we didn't?

No, I think it was staged. There are too many contradictions to say that we did. Way too many.......

Are moon rocks chopped liver?

How about video of the first moon walk?

What do you consider proof? Did Columbus actually find the Western Hemisphere?

Yes, I believe we went to the moon. Since I don't doubt it, I don't need proof. Anything is possible, but the Apollo moon missions were real, not made up, not propaganda, not a figment of our imaginations.

If there were any conspiracy to fake a moon mission it would not have been sustainable in the decades since July 1969.

By the way, I heard the radio reports of the moon landing and saw the video as it was sent from the moon.

In all your learned opinions do you think we actually went to moon at the end of teh 60's? I heard a prominant physicist doubt the possibility of surviving the radiation the Apollo crew would have been exposed too, as soon as they left the Van Allen Belt. Fact or Fiction, Why?

Conspiracy theorists have argued that space travel to the moon is impossible because the Van Allen radiation would kill or incapacitate an astronaut who made the trip. In practice, even at the peak of the belts, one could live for several months without receiving a lethal dose, and launch sites and paths are chosen not to pass through said peak. Astronauts traveling to the moon probably have an increased lifetime risk of cancer, but would be expected not to (and did not) have noticeable illness.

I think we did,, but you never know. Many pictures prove they did or didnt. Guess its up to you.

If the US faked it just to "say" they beat the Russians, and there was any proof, why did the Soviet Union accept that they were beaten (to the moon)? The Soviet Union who had the most to lose by the US succeeding never had any question. They even showed it live on thier television. Why would the USSR allow US propaganda in their own country? They wouldn't. They showed it on Soviet TV because THEY knew it was real.

I don't think it's possible because they had a multitude of different contractors and manufacturers making the parts needed to go to the moon . I myself worked for a company which made a part for the luner landing module .

I personally haven't been to the moon.
Yet.

As to whether or not people have walked on the moon, I think they did but if not then they'd better do it quickly as people are starting to get suspicious!

Why haven't we gone back? I'd like to believe that people did actually land on the moon.

I don't think that we went to the moon. That's a long trip and I would definitely remember going there with you. Maybe it was someone else that went with you or maybe you just dreamt it.
