I wanted to buy my live-in girlfriend a pair of thong panties. She said that the only way she would even consider wearing a thong is if I bought two of the exact same womens thongs and I wore one of them to bed first. I think I would be willing to go through with it (sems kinda kinky and fun). I just wanted to see what some of the women out there think about it or if anyone has done anything similar. Also any hints on what brand or material of thong that I should buy? She said I'm on my own in picking them out.

One thing to consider is how sensitive she is health-wise. Women who are prone to yeast and/or bladder infections should NOT wear thongs. Thongs hold bacteria and germs right against the vagina for hours at a time which can be a serious health issue for some women.
Ask your girlfriend if she is prone to infections. Don't be embarrassed. If you want to do this lingerie thing, you want to be sure she won't be put in harm's way from it.

Apparantly your girlfriend doesn't know much about wearing thongs. I was once not going to wear them either. but you know what, they are very comfortable if you get the kind with a very thing strip, the thinner the better. and they don't show panty lines through your dress pants or jeans. and they are sexy.. You shouldn't have to wear one though. that is not right, unless you get you some bikini cut for men. then its okay, but not womens.

So if you do go through with this and you wear it first, then she has only agreed to "consider" to wear them. So you may decide that after you have them on she doesn't want to wear a thong.

I'd tell her nevermind, and I would find a women that does not want to feminize me. Clearly if you have to explain to her what would be hot to wear, and she tells you to wear them "first" she is setting you up for humiliation. Drop the thong idea with her, she sounds like a dud

When She tells Her friends about how She convinced You to wear female apparel are You going to suffer Their slights and laughter at the expense of Your dignity? No. I did not think so. It is an interesting fact of nature that an overt act of sexism such as this is often considered by Females to be of little consequence to Your emotional and psychological status and development. Her anti masculinity agenda should give You course for concern. Stand up for Your rights and have Her explain Her true reasons for wanting to pseudo-emasculate You in the bedroom.
Buy a sarong and start wearing that around the house. It is the closest thing to a skirt since the kilt, and a lot more comfortable than jeans.

Go to a place like 'Just for lovers' or 'Lovers boutique' and ask a respectable salesperson to show you something in a matching his and hers thong set! How can she turn you down then? It is romantic to dress up on occasion!
