If so was it what you expected? Did they look like their picture? I've met someone before years ago... I think I was a Freshman in College... the person was actually cool. Don't talk to them anymore though.

Unfortunately I did. He was about 50 lbs. heavier than his picture (if not more). He turned out to be very psychotic. I refuse to meet people from the internet now!

I have met a lot of people in person that I met online... to tell you the truth, they almost never look like their pictures, although sometimes they do. I have a lot of really cool friends that I've met that way, and also a lot of really weird people I think should be in an asylum ;)

No that seems like it was a while ago for you. Now there are more and more psychos on the net and I would never meet someone from the net. There have been many murders because people meet friends on the net and meet them in person. Plus when you first meet them they can always fake and act like a great person but half of the time they aren't and have hidden agendas and backgrounds.

I have actually met in person one guy from my hometown who I first met online. Don't remember how we met online. My teenage niece was talking to him and his buddies on IM and we went to a karaoke party. He still chats for a few minutes every once in awhile but don't plan to see him again. However, I have a special friend who I trust completely that I met through "answers" over a year ago. I really want to meet him but he lives in England and I am in the USA. We had planned to meet but things happened but someday we will......

Sort of.
I actually had a class with the guy previously, but we never spoke. About a year later we met up online and I didn't even realize I had been in class with him until he told me.
We had actually had two classes together and he'd had a crush on me the entire time. He even told his friends that he wanted me to have his babies.
We got married 8 months later. That was 8 years ago. Still happily married. : )
I'm afraid it doesn't work that way for everyone.

Yes and yes, they look like their picture. Met them in person last week. Best person I've met in a long time. :-) We've hung out a couple times. Talk all the time. A really laid-back person.

Yes, two people. They were exactly what I expected and they looked exactly like their pictures. We didn't click as a couple but I still talk every day to the one man. The other one phones every month or so and we catch up. They're good friends.

I have met one male online that is what he said he was. His picture was the pictures he sent me. I have met a few females over the year and was only shocked by one person. The pictures they sent me wasn't what I had thought they would be.
