Does anyone know what movies Nicholas Cage has starred in and his been performance(acting) is over the top?

Would Ghost Rider be a example of this?

I mean cheesy performances. That's why I used ghost rider as a example.

Some movies he has starred in....
National Treasure
World Trade Center
The Weather Man
Matchstick Men
The Family Man
Gone in Sixty Seconds
City of Angels
Face/off
Con-Air
The Rock
Honeymoon in Vegas

As far as which of his movies he was over-the-top in....it depends on what you mean by that...do you mean cheesy or do you mean good acting?

Con Air - great
Face Off - also great
Moon Struck -really quite ok and Sam Ellliot is in it
did not like - Bring Out The Dead
or - Leaving Las Vegas
but watched them more than once just because he was in them.
Was he in a movie with Kurt Russell about all these guys who looked like Elvis robbing a casino, cant remember.
Google "Nicholas Cage Movies"
Gone in Sixty Seconds, - awsome
didn't think much of - 8mm, maybe because of the subject matter.
Lord of War - ho hum
The Rock - bloody brilliant
Family Man - ho hum
Raising Arizona -not bad
City of Angels - amazing (girlie flick but great)
The Weatherman - ho hum
Captain Corelli's mandolin - sortof not bad, girlie flick
Did I mention - Ghost Rider
Snake Eyes - double ho and lots of hum
Peggy Sue got married - Not to bad

I actually liked him in National Treasure and Con Air. Wicker Man sucked, and I didn't even bother with Ghost Rider...

Over the top as in insane and crazy? I agree with Raising Arizona. Also Bringing Out the Dead. Also Leaving Las Vegas. Damn, the man is in freaky movies, pretty much any of them.

To answer the Q first, yep, GHOST RIDER is definitely a prime example of over-the-top perf. His other over-the-top perf has to be in FACE-OFF (sheer crap), KISS OF DEATH (not bad), THE WICKER MAN (lost in yonkers), CON-AIR (bearable) etc. - And I happen to like Nic Cage.
