I've heard a lot about how a lot of people think he faked his death.
Could someone please explain this to me?
Maybe give me the facts, or something about why some people think he faked it?
Will I understand better if I read facts about his death?
Do you think he faked it? Why?

Because some people are still soooo in love w/ Elvis they want to believe he is still alive.Sorry but as big as he was when he died...I think if he was around we would have spotted him by now.

It's just folklore. He was quite the deal in his day and so famous that everyone knew what he looked like. One person would swear they saw him here and another person over there. People really didn't want to let him go. He was so famous that he was trapped in his house and he was pretty much unable to go anywhere without being mobbed. It was a different time and fame was costly in terms of freedom. It must have been very difficult for him; he couldn't even go to the grocery store without getting his clothes torn off. Don't study his death, study his beginnings. He was a big part of rock n roll-he was the king. . .he was the most famous of all. . .

Why did he buy his own casket "special made" in Okla.
City 3 months ahead, and since when does it take 10 pall-
barers to carry it, and the tombstone with his middle name
spelt wrong, and his life insurance policy still not cashed,
and this all happened on or near the anniversary of his Moms
death. It dosn't matter though does it ?

They are in denial .It happen with no warning.So big fans would not let it go.To them he needed a brack from fame.But they think some day he will come back just as strong(If he was not die he must be by now)

People tend to deify famous people. They don't want to believe that something as prosaic and pedestrian as death could happen to their idols.
