My response made a big hit earlier...here it is again...

A box of rocks is smarter.....

About the same as a box of rocks. But don't take my word for it:

The non-partisan researchers who evaluated the twelve presidents determined that the six Republican presidents for the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest IQ, at 155. President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. The margin of error is plus or minus five percent. This study was initiated on February 13, 2001 and completed on June 17, 2001. This study validated the widespread feeling of people about the sitting president. President Bush was rated low because of his inability to command the English language, his lack of any scholarly achievements, and an absence of anything authored by him that would reflect an intellectual effort." -- "Jennifer Borenstein, Baskerville News Service, 6/28/01"

Most people I.Q. falls between 100 and 130.

A high IQ society is an organization that limits membership to people who are within a certain high percentile of IQ test results. The most well-known is Mensa International, which requires members to score in the top 2% of a standardized IQ test.

You could safely bet the farm that GWB would never belong to a high IQ society.

I think it's about normal for a puppet--"0"

I'm laughing too hard to really answer......

OK, now I'm better, so here goes...

Actually, this was asked this afternoon, and I think that someone said it was about 124, based on his SAT scores. But, since he can't relate to anyone or anything that is not in his tax bracket, I would say that his real understanding of most American's lives is close to nil. And that would be a much more important asset for a president than a high IQ. (Still, I did appreciate intellectual presidents like Kennedy)

I find it funny that someone thinks Bush's IQ is much higher than anybody using this forum.

In fact, I find that quite hilarious.

I highly doubt Bush is anywhere above middle average...and perhaps closer to the lower end of average...although I doubt it's below 90. That would be pretty bad.

he would have to take an IQ test for that info to exist, which ive never heard of him taking.

there is a false list of presidential IQ's that was once cited in the 2004 election by major news outlets. it was an internet hoax.

wow- do you fools understand that BarB's numbers are taken directly from what i and others have cited, which is known through empirical evidence to be a complete lie.

are you people in the cult of joseph goebelles or something? or do you actually believe that clinton and kennedy's IQ's are akin to what people estimate for Immanuel Kant, Frederich Nietzsche and Steven Hawkings?

i guess i know what the median IQ of Y/A is at least......

The IQ of an individual person is protected by federal law from being released to the public without the consent of the individual, release through a court decision, or out of extreme medical necessity. So one can not legally find out his IQ scores publicly unless he openly tells the public. But you can legally find out his SAT scores which is readily available on the Internet and convert it to an estimated IQ through a chart on this website http://www.iqcomparisonsite.com/oldSATIQ.aspx but many studies depute the accuracy of correlating IQ with standardized test scores. So his true IQ we can't find out by legal means. Sorry.
