It has already been said but I will say it again. KTM
Most experts and motorcycle journalists agree that the KTM is the best Enduro or offroad bike made.
I have bough 5 in the past and I currently have 3 an '05, '06 and '07.
They've got it all.

I also have a KLR650 and it is a very versatile bike. It's at home on the trails but can handle highway speeds without breaking a sweat. It's built tough and is easy to maintain. If you're under 6ft you'll probably want to lower it. I rejetted it with a dynojet kit, have a k&n air filter and a supertrapp exhaust. Even with the mods it'll get 50 mpg.
The stock gearshift lever can be a little weak. I replaced mine with an IMS one.
A good site for info on the KLR650 is http://www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html

I like my Kawasaki KLR 650. I know it is big and heavy, but I like it. My dads friend sold it to me and I put 2 inch lowering links and slid down the triple clamps. I think I am the only chick that rides a KLR in my area? Just my couple of cents.
