Good going Donelle g. Isn't it amazing how yr persistence pays off? You are a champion! Do you like it when you are contradicted? Did you know yesterday that you were addicted to contradicting? Bravo!

Yes. I speculate you know the anwser to this question.

Given the knowledge you can get addicted to any thing including emotions, and that emotion is simply a chemical that the Hypothalamus produces,

You CAN get addicted to somthing you dont like. For instance if you are an angry person on a daily basis, your brain can get addicted to the chemical that is produced when experiencing anger. In other words, the more you are angry, the more likely you are to get angry, to a point you get angry for no "good reason".

If from past experience you determine you dont "like" to get angry, due to the reactions that you get from this emotion, then yes, unless you like to get angry, yes you can get addicted to somthing you don't like.

~~~ I don't see how it's possible to get addicted to something you don't like, unless it's a certain type of prescription drug or illegal drug you have to or want to take for awhile. Drugs can be very addictive. When it comes to things you don't like to begin with, you usually try to avoid them. I guess it depends on how much you dislike what ever it is you're worried you might become addicted to. If you do something enough times or on a regular basis you'll probably become used to it and it seems normal. There are some things I know I would never become addicted to even if for some reason I had to do it every day. Take for an example....Cottage Cheese. If it was the only thing left in the whole world to eat, I would still hate it and gag at every meal. ~~~
It depends on what it is.
I never really liked to wear body splashes, I always wore perfume. Not really much of a difference, I know. But I always had a thing about having a "scent," so I stuck to one perfume and thats it. My boyfriend absolutely LOVES body splash.. and after dating him for a few months, and wearing them to grab his attention to me & make me him smell me all the time (hee hee), I actually have grown fond of them. And I have like 20 different scents.
I guess it's like they say "People change." I'm sure there are things that you didn't like when you were younger, that eventually you began to like.
Edit: Ok, I dont know if I understood the question correctly.. if I didnt WHOOPS!
yes i think, if you force your self to it and get used to it...and soon you'll realize you're liking it.
