I usually try not to curse on a usual basis.. as it is not "lady-like". But I do have a bit of a hard try controlling my anger.
Anyhow, when I curse and let it all out at the moment, the anger will be significantly decreased then if I were to hold it in.
But of course, the cursing and letting it all out, never helps me in any way. If anything it makes the situation even worse. And neither does holding it in.
I've been researching anger management techniques, but I feel like a lost hope.. Blah!
So to answer you question, cursing might help reduce the anger in the sense that you're venting and lashing it out. Just try not to vent or lash it out on anyone, as it will only make matters worse. (From my personal experience)

you have been given many super solutions so which you have distinctive selections. the way you sense is the way you sense nevertheless. looks like your granddaughter has unquestionably advised you that she sees you as a landlord no longer her grandmother. Even a landlord merits extra admire. What i might do is this. to any extent further you are the owner. Make a catalogue of regulations for tenants to abide by making use of, including behaving in a civil way, paying lease in a well timed way and respecting organization hours. Wait until eventually she knocks on your door early interior the morning to ask for bus fare and lunch money. Pull out a arranged promissory word and have her sign it with the quantity she owes you, save a working entire. If she does not prefer to sign it, then do no longer very own loan her the money. Landlords have not have been given any criminal duty to non-public loan money to their tenants. and because she is the tenant and you are the owner, positioned up organization hours. And remind her that she is to no longer wake you up except it incredibly is an emergency that effects the citizens or the actual risk-free practices of the living house. i might additionally evaluate elevating the lease to equivalent what the different tenants pay. consistent with possibility she'll be certain she had a good purchase while you have been her grandmother. besides, she would manage to no longer like it and if she has to pay the lease that others pay, she would desire to pass back living house or discover yet another place to stay. it incredibly is her decision, she desires to strengthen up and face reality. i've got seen grown little ones take benefit of their mom and dad and grandparents for over a decade and alter into based and envious for no longer doing much extra.

Some people express their anger through cursing, and maybe it works for some people. I believe it's much better to curse and let your anger out rather and suppressing it. So, if you're angry, curse however much you want, but examen your situation and determine if it's an appropriate time to curse.

No, it actually can increase anger, because it keeps the individual in the negative mindset and adds to the "heat" of the moment.
Humor is what helps reduce anger... to find more creative ways to express oneself instead of using expletives is an easy way to introduce humor into a heated situation. The more creative one can get, the funnier it will become. ;)

People that curse, they curse because they have no other way to express how they feel so they get frustrated. When they curse they get more angry. It really doesn't help but makes things worse.

I'd rather curse than react physically like punching or throwing stuff. Not that swearing is a healthy way to relaese anger but it's safer than lashing out violently.

No, it actually makes me angrier. Once I discovered that I started working to stop swearing. I also find myself in a lot of pain if I throw something in anger (I have a nerve disease), or have an angry discussion, so I'm making big inroads to end that, too.

i think it just makes you more angry, but i do it all the time. for example, if traffic is really bad. but i curse all the time anyway, and i really need to stop because i know how stupid i sound. there is just no reason to curse, you don't look smarter or anything. it's pointless, but we do it anyway. i think screaming relieves your anger :)

Good question. It really made me think about why I cuss, and how actually unproductive it is to the situation and my anger levels/blood pressure. To answer your question though:
No, it doesn't help me to be more calm, it makes me MORE angry. Why do I cuss then? Probably because my brain is so p!ssed off, I can't think of a better word...so cussing really is the sign of lack of vocabulary!
