Depends........ I usually flip him off back or I smile at her and make the praying sign. You see. I dont get out much anymore.

That has rarely happened to me. In my youth I responded with "hostility" I will just leave it at that.
Now in my thirties I am not so easily insulted.

Clap at them, the way you would at a 2 year old who just used the potty for the first time.

I usually wave, but it depends on the situation. If they look like they might ram me with their car, I pretend I don't see the flipper. If we are exiting or something and there isn't a chance I'll see them again, I might wave.

I just laugh, it doesn't take a genius to put up a finger, so I just consider the source.
EDIT: Or if they really piss me off I wave my hand and tell them its a whole bouquet of those.

I laugh and have an incredible urge to bite their finger off. I may chase after them, scream and yell, or just laugh so hard I pee my pants. Depends on what I did to deserve it.
