the benefits outweigh the risks in the situation of abstinence from sex. For starters, you are 99.99% protected from STI's. The only way you could get one now is if you got blood from someone with HIV. and Second, many say that the longer you go without having sex, the greater the intensity of the climax is when you decide to start again. But on the down side, Sex is associated with lower levels of risk of certain types of cancer (only a small rediction in risk) and happier relationships. I hope this helps.

When I was in my accident, I personally went for an extended period of time without sex.......Everything was working, just when I would have sex the after effects were soo bad....that I
hung it up so to speak.....I noticed no physical effects as long as I stayed away from those PYT's (pretty young thangs) Had the normal physical effects there.aaahhaa Done alot of standing behind counters or sit quickly..... Mentally....I was real snappy....and short with people. You can always "take things in hand"....aaaha

It should not have much effect unless you keep thinking about it. Then you might get a wet dream or you are prone to masturbate. Look at monks, they distract their mind through prayers. Some people abstain from sex from their whole life so its not impossible and its all in the mind. Good luck.

Seriously though - how old were you before you lost your virginity? If you lost it on your 16th birthday, then what about the 15 years that came before that?
