Generally about $10.00 per hour from an individual person, and $15 from a cleaning service, with a 4 hour minimum. They will have a contract for you to sign which spells out exactly what they plan to do, and you can negotiate from there.
Word of caution: if you are not going to be home while the cleaning service is there, you should place your cats in a cage, because cats don't like strangers, and might accidentally get out. No other person is going to watch out for them the way you do.
For more information, see cleaning service on the internet.

I think costs often depend on the area in which you live. I know, for instance that I could make more if I were to travel to an area less rural, and higher income residential.
Anyway, I would probably agree with the $60 quote. That's pretty basic. Don't be suprised if your charged extra for your cats. The litter boxes aren't what take time. It's cat hair. Cat hair, is 10 times worse than dog hair......
Services should include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, moping, emptying trash ( together in one large bag ,ready to take out) complete cleaning of bathroom, and wiping down kitchen sink, counters etc.

60.00 minimum is what most charge down here in florida they charge 20=25 dollars an hour with a 3 hr minimun regardless of how long they will be there. they will do all the general cleaning excluding windows, refrigerator, stove but do all floors bathrooms dusting kitchen vacuming and mopping.. so i would say 60 is fair thats what i charge for your home..

I pay $15 an hour and I love our housecleaner. Have someone come and tell you how long it will take to clean your place. I'd say no more than $50 a clean and that would be SO pushing it!

To do a light cleaning - vacuum whole apt, clean bathroom (all surfaces), wash kitchen floor, dust living room area --- these things should take a couple of hours = $25 . . . this includes travel for your 'maid' . . .

OKAY first please be kind and keep up the kitty box yourself.
you can compare service and then choose. OH and do your self a favor, Please do a background check not just a reference check. typically you could pay 35.00 a room.
Good Luck!
