Why kill him. He's just doing what he does. Leave him alone. One day, you'll be nothing more than something crawling on some thing's screen and you'll wish you were nicer to the little creatures now that you are one.
Every bug that will be squished was a human in a previous life that did the same to another little bug.

OMG I have two of them!!! They're driving me nuts, and I don't want to kill them cause I don't want gnat guts all over my screen!! (I'm WAY too lazy to clean my screen this time of night!)
