seriously...everyweek i see a question like WIll yankees make it to play-off?...
i think that it really doesnt matter...even though yankees have a all-star line up...yankees r not "super" team...who cares if they dont make it to play-off...and we are only in MONTH OF MAY..start posting those questions during MONTH OF SEPTEMBER...god

Becasue the Yankees are the Yankees. You either love them or hate them. The Yankees like almost always make the playoffs, so that's why there is so much attention on this. I'm a Yankees fan and I agree, it's very early in the season. No time to panic yet, and really no reason to keep asking "will they make the playoffs".

History has said time and time again "To get to the playoffs you got to go through the Yankees."
Nobody say that with the Red Sox, Angels, Twins or even the Atlanta Braves. The Yankees are considered the premier baseball team. They spend the most money, they tend to have the best players, they always seem to win. So when it doesn't work out it and they start to loose it makes news. But news that pleasing to the other 29 teams in the league.

that's what I hate about activities. The networks rooting for the tremendous- call communities. there isn't any longer some thing extra interesting and clean than seeing a clean face contained in the team. The Rays!! confident, this probably isn't reliable for television rankings. yet for the followers, who hate seeing the pink Sox and Yanks each and every twelve months...that's interesting. i'm an excellent Cleveland fan. very last twelve months, we were up 3 video games to a million hostile to Boston contained in the ALCS. simply because the Yankees are "supposed" to make the playoffs every year. When there is as much money spent on a team such as the Yankees, people get upset that the team does'nt win or make the playoffs/World Series.

It gets more attention because the YANKEES are the greatest team in sports history. No other team matches their history and they have more fans than any other team. So them not making the playoffs robs more people of watching them for a few extra weeks at the end of the season.

because unlike other teams for example pirates hell all the national league teams they have a nation wide fan base. I live in Texas and i've seen more yankees games than rangers and astros games combined. whether you like the yankees or not the baseball playoffs are BETTER with all the HUGE fan base teams i.e red sox, yankees, white sox, tigers, angels.

If you don't like it, don't bother with the questions that involve people asking weather or not they will make the playoffs. It's simple as that, obviously this has been going on for weeks, and probably won't change anytime soon.
