i know that i will need to buy the wall power adapter but i was wondering whether or not i really need to buy the world travel adapter kit along with it. can i just use the power converters that i'm taking anyway?

You should be fine with a basic power adapter kit. The trouble for most people comes with bigger appliances when they try to connect 110V to a 220V. That's when you need fancy transformers. Look on your IPOD charger it should say something along the lines of 100v-240V on it, if it does your golden. The official IPOD charger does. This insures your pretty little IPOD doesn't become a pretty little paper weight.

you can plug it into any computer or your lap top if you have one. I pluged mine into the hotel computer and it worked fine
