perhaps you are having a ninja. nijas are nocturnal creatures that kick alot. you should get a sonagram and see if it is carrying any swords or nunchucks. hope that clears up any questions. good luck and sianara.

Actually, it is because you are so active during the day and you don't notice the small bumps and kicks as much as you do when you are laying still to get some rest.

If baby continues to be extremely active at night and you find baby is keeping you from getting your much needed sleep, start watching your sugars before bed. Try not to consume caffiene anytime after say 4. Stay away from fruit juices, especially apple juice, these have the purest sugars and will go to the baby quicker and stimulate the baby. (Dr.'s give this to you at the hospital if you are not feeling baby move, it helps with getting your kick count done)

Good luck! Get what sleep you can now, cause in the first couple weeks, you are going to need it! Congratulations! :-)

My third child was like that and she was definitely a night owl! She didn't sleep much at night until after she was 6-months old. It may have made a difference because I would get up. Maybe if you stay in bed it will help. I have 4 children and she was the only one like that. Since his/her daddy is a night owl maybe he will stay up with him/her during the night.Good Luck!!

I am 28 weeks preg too and my baby moves a lot at night too. She moves when I am eating at lunch and dinner too. She is still and quiet usually around 7-11am she moves at lunch for 30 minutes and then I don't feel her again until 6:30 or 7 for 30 (sometimes not all the time) and then she starts moving a lot around 10pm-4 or 5am....Good luck to you!!! Keep cool this summer...I am having a hard time with this heat here in Texas! I am ready to have my baby now. All this extra weight makes it so hard! I told my husband today that I am not have sex with anymore in Oct, Nov, Dec, or Jan!!! He was like....?!?!?WHAT?!?!?! I just laughed....not having a Summer baby ever again!!! Good luck to you!

It is because when you are active (durning the day) your baby is being rocked to sleep, and when you are (trying) to relax your baby wakes up, it doesn't mean he/she will be a night owl just remember to start teaching a sleep schedual as so as its born at night make sure the room is dark and during the day have it dim

It's just a sign that you're pregnant. I don't know why, but all three of my children seemed to kick the most at night. Maybe it's because we are still and feel it more. Maybe the baby wonders why we're not moving around like we usually do.

Isn't it wonderful to feel that little life?

Mine did the same thing - a question - do you cuddle with Daddy during the night? I realized that when I snuggled up to her daddy, it was like she was playing with him, she would kick and stretch so hard.. when I would roll away or move to the other side of the bed, she calmed down a bit. I also kinda thought she was saying "HEY MOMMY - I'M BORED, GET UP, TALK, MOVE! I DON'T WANNA GO TO BED." LOL.. Still hear that one...

Nope, That's because your active during the day. Your movement, walking around sort of rocks the baby and keeps them sleeping. When you settle down for the night , the movement stops and he becomes active. When he's born this will likely be his routine, it will take a few days to get him to switch. Congratulations

Your mendacity nevertheless is the suitable time for toddler to pass around and play. some little ones take alittle time to comply with a sparkling sleep schedule and a few do no longer. My son, in the previous he became born, became wakeful kicking field objectives each and every nighttime. i in my view moist the mattress a splash a pair time whilst he kicked my bladder. He did no longer take any time adjusting and slept completely. no longer each and every newborn is an identical, maximum little ones play in mommy's tummy at nighttime. whilst toddler is born, he/she would manage to sleep each and every one million or 2 hours in the commencing up, for the time of the nighttime you could enable her/him sleep a splash better between feedings to get used to dozing longer at nighttime. Gotta practice the physique clock.

He's a night owl right now but that could change. He's just having a good ole' time while you're trying to go to sleep.

When you are moving around during the day, the movement lulls him to sleep. It's very common to have a night owl kicker.
