to flush the motor you need a end of a garden hose adapter called "ears" you can buy at nearly any boating department for $8 to 15. Two rubber cups fit on the lower unit above the prop at the water intake and the water hose forces water into the motor so you can run the motor and flush out on the trailer IE out of water.

i do not know the manufacturer of this brand -- but a marine dealer is a phone call away from you and there is a clamp-on device that will force fresh hose water into the intake and flush the engine of salt water --------- the water intake is probably some small fin-like opening at the area in front of the propeller --- as this would be under the boat hull and allow the motor to take in water and as well the exhaust goes out of the motor in a nearby place .... if the marine dealer does not have the part you need then ask the parts dude to direct you to the right company these folks will go the extra mile to make for good customer relations and repeat biz ..............

most older engines do not have flush systems, just buy some "earmuffs" from a local marine shop - the earmuffs will connect to the hose and then go over you water intake holes on the bottom of your outdrive - then just turn on the hose. I would also turn her on to run some fresh through the whole system
