Don't use bleach, it's soo harmful! There are so many toxins in it! Even cancer-causing ones. If you want to learn more about products you can get that are safer and more natural, there's a company called Melaleuca that sells great products. They're soo good. And cheaper than Walmart. I've been a customer for a while now and the products are great! Did you know that Johnson's Baby shampoo has a form of formaldehyde in it? If you want to find out more, you can email me at reagwer1234@yahoo.com.

Child welfare regulations in our state say you should clean toys with a 1:3 part bleach/water solution then rinse well with water. Items which can be submerged should go through a 3 step process. 1 bucket 1:3 bleach/water, 2nd and 3rd buckets water. Then allow to air dry.

I personally like using organically safe products so they are safe for my pets and kids. I use Simple green. http://consumer.simplegreen.com/index.php

Do a search on google using "green products" This is the term commonly used for organically safe products, you'll get a ton of hits on items.

It was recently brought to my attention that HYDROGEN PEROXIDE is a safe, thorough cleaner! Interesting huh? A safer alternative to bleach... And INEXPENSIVE!! Check out the link below for more info.

Hydrogen peroxide is a combination of hydrogen and oxygen. In low concentrations, such as the types found in many homes, it works well as a disinfectant and antiseptic without the smell and potentially harmful effects of chlorine bleach.

Hydrogen peroxide and other oxidizing agents kill microbes by releasing large amounts of oxygen, which contributes to the alteration of the microbial enzymes and destroys pathogens.

Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface... it kills 99.9% of bacteria on hard surfaces and gentle enough to use around kids, pets and food. I love it because I can spray it on my daughter's toys and just wipe it off and it's such a peace in mind knowing that it's not harmful around babies like bleach.
