I have posted questions that concern my cramping and bleeding.

I would like to know however how many people experienced cramps that were down right anoying and spotting at the same time during the first trimester and went on to have a healthy baby?

I am again experiecing the cramping and spotting but the cramping in mostly my back and a slight pain in my right side in my abdomen. The spotting I'm having is I think due to my back. But I have no major cramps or cloting.

Just a few facts that have popped up with my pregnancy:-
- An ultrasound machine is 3 hours away in the next town.
- My doctor did not physically examine me when I went to see him about the spotting the 1st time. His diagnosis made me cry for 2 hours when he told me it was more likely I was having a miscarriage not the sex I had the night before (found this out from a nurse at the hospital)

Wow, why ask this question here? Have you seen your OB about this? If not, do so right away!

Okay, I will tell you my experience, however. I had cramping and spotting for months with my second pregancy. It was not bright blood, rather a dark, dusky colored spotting. My OB said this was from the uterus having a little more lining than needed and some was just sloughing off. He told me that if a woman has an episode of spotting more than once, it becomes less and less likely the pregnancy will end. Meaning if the pregnancy is still viable after one episode, most likely it won't cause any problems there-after.

This is not medical advice, only what happened to me and what I was told. You need to listen to your OB only on this one...but it doesn't hurt to ask others experience, if that makes any sense. :)

I would go to the ER immediately. Take it from someone who has lost a baby. You need to get this looked at. The cramping may be normal, but the spotting would worry me. if it is RED then you need to go to the ER. If it is pink and pale then you are probably ok. but should see a doctor anyway.

yes yes and yes! I spotted alot in my first trimester, and cramped, and ached, and had back spasms. It was terrible until about 11 weeks, and I am now 22 weeks and doing fine!
