I have been watching Days for 16 years and actually have been so busy that I haven't seen it in about 2 or 3 months. There is alot going on that I didn't know about! Please fill me in. Thanks.

Yes, he's still on, John was in a coma after E.J. Wells shot him, but last week he woke up, and this week, he will be re-joining a lot of old faves.....Stephano , Lexie, Tony, Anna all will be returning (well, Anna and Lexie, the other two are back on screen already) hope that helps.....This summer promises to answer the question : "Why do the Dimeras hate the Bradys so much?? Whats up with the feud?"
It has something to do with Stephano's father being in love with Shawn Brady's Sister and her death

Drake Hogestyn aka John Black just awoke from being in a coma last week--a while back John was shot by EJ (Stephano's son) and had his kidney remove by Kayla(long story) but to answer your question yes D. Hogestyn is still on DOOL

Santos, Stefano's father started the Freud after Shawn Brady rescued his sister from the monster. DiMeras' claim the Brady's started it but it was Santos who did.
Collin Murray will be a key player, though only in flashbacks. He is a Dimera by blood. Son or grandson I am not sure.
Drake was actually in contract talks during his coma, and depending on how they went, John either lived or died.

Yes, he is back. John was shot by E.J. and while in a coma E.J. (Elvis Jr.) cut out one of John's kidneys for E.J.'s evil father Stephano. Now John has awakened from that coma able to talk and walk & strong as ever and he is going after E.J., Tony, Stephano.Day's are getting good!

he is still on there but him and marlena are going to be going off the show soon he has been in a coma due to ej wells shooting him last week if not the week before he came out of that comma

He is still on.He was off for a while as he was in a coma but he is now awake.You will be seeing a lot of him this summer.
