A little finch that my cat brought in in his mouth. He hadn't
killed it yet and I pried it out and put it in my sock drawer.
A little while later I hear it chirp a bit, reached in, pulled it
out and released it outdoors. A couple of days later there
were literally dozens of finches at the feeder where there
had only been a couple before.
