For the past week I have been feeling like I was going to start my period, tender breasts, headaches, mood swings, etc. but no blood. I even feel pressure down there like I am bleeding heavy but NOTHING. I had a D&C on April 18th because of irregular heavy periods (2 weeks apart even on birth control) and bled brown for 3 weeks straight, then the last 2 days were heavier with a little bleeding. Could it be since they completely scraped my uterus that my body is trying to have a period but there's no blood to bleed out? I am not pregnant, and have no idea what's going on. My gyno says there's nothing "wrong" but I'm switching doc's tomorrow. In the beginning of March, we found out my FSH and LH levels are off making me ovulate very irregularly if at all, and I have high Prolactin. I don't know if that has anything to do with it? I want to find out what's going on with me, but $20 everytime I go to the doc gets a little expensive...

I have a history of ovarian cysts, and had a laparoscopy done to check for endo, but it came back negative.

Yes, it's possible that they could have scraped too far during the D&C and if they did you would probably need to take something for a spell like estrogen pills to try and restart the period.

But because of the issues with the hormones FSH and LH this not having a period may be related to the hormone issues.

High prolactin levels can also affect periods. I know you are going to find a new dr. Ask the new gynecologist or your primary care physician about a referral to an endocrinologist. The endocrinologist can also help with the prolactin level issue.

My wife was on birth control pills for many years. As time went on, her periods were with less and less blood until she stopped bleeding completely during her cycles. Her gyno said that it was "normal", but that's a big chance to take. Before we "split", she got off the pills and returned to a sorta normal cycle. I know this is a bit off topic, but I'm getting to be a bit afraid of what these doctors are telling us. I got off junk food a year ago and have been juicing and eating more fruits and veggies, organic when I can/afford it and I am having lots of chronic/annoying things disappear. Look at "naturalcures.com" and try the one week free trial; read the books; I wish you luck and better health.

Your blood sugar is firmly in diabetic variety, however it isn't particularly prime sufficient to convey at the extra typical signs of diabetes, like widespread urination and elevated thirst. Like prime blood stress, Type two diabetes is particularly a "silent killer" for the reason that many men and women on no account revel in signs and handiest get identified by way of movements blood paintings, in most cases after a long time with the ailment. (That's what occurred to me.) You will have to be glad that you just do not need diabetic headaches or blood sugar prime sufficient to reason signs. Hopefully so that you can make your blood sugar leadership less difficult. By the way in which, I used to be identified while I used to be 25 happening 26, so I real do sympathize along with your function. Having high prolactin levels is what is most likely causing your symptoms all together.

After a D & C your periods can be out of sorts.

If this Doctor has offered you no treatment for your excessive hormone levels then I am glad yu are seeing someone new with different ideas.

Stressing about your period not coming can stop it coming.
