The United States is the only advanced nation that does it to newborns. Canada's rates are in the single digits now. So it's Jews, Muslims and a few odd nations here and there. See the following link.
Worldwide rates:
http://www.circumstitions.com/Maps.html
And USA rates:
http://www.cirp.org/library/statistics/USA/staterates2004/
So as you can see, the USA is also slowly dropping the surgery just like the other English speaking nations did (in some states it's as low as 14% already).

Countries with circumcision rates as high or higher than in the US include (but not limited to): Philippines, South Korea (due to US influence in the Korean War), pretty much all of the middle east countries, and some random African countries (especially ones with heavy Muslim influence). All in all, the total population of these countries only equals between 20-30% of the world's male population.

Philippines does it more than the U.S., just instead do it when the boys are 8 - 14 as a ritual rite of passage into manhood. US does it on babies. Still, the Philippines well over 90% are circumcised. Today, in the U.S., 60% are (as babeis).

aside from jewish states, no other countries do. Yes the phillipines and muslim countries practice circumcision but not on babies; it is done in those places as more a passing into manhood than a ritual of childbirth. And for th eperson who said Canada, they need to check current statistics which show that routine infant circumcision is not widely done any more here.

In most Arab countries (Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, UAE, Lybia, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, etc...) Muslims circumcise male kids early in life, as a part of their religion. This tradition is preserved in countries where Muslims migrate (mainly Canada and South America). Hebrews circumcise their male kids in Israel and every country where they are living (high concentration in US and Argentina), as well as a religious practice. Currently, circumcision is becoming a frequent practice in occidental countries as a choice, for medical reasons (fimosis) or as a preventive measure for cancer and infections.

Not Canada!
The Philippines, Israel, and the Muslim world. The rate in Japan is under 2%. Ditto Finland. Almost all circumcisions in Europe are done as religious rites by Muslims or Jews. It's rare in Latin America, non-Muslim Asia, and most of Africa. Rates are way down in Australia. The US is finally catching on, and rates here are falling very rapidly.

It is just the u.s. and some primitive tribal based cultures that mutilate male babies. Some of those primitive tribes also "circumcise" girls.
