Very little different, the world does not evolve around any one person, no matter what they ended up doing in life, If not him, it would have been someone else or a compination of things.

It's always fun, and frustrating to come up with these 'what if" questions of history, because there is no right answer. As soon as one changes one fact or date, event or person in history, then the entire equation is left open, because you never know what will fill in for that date or person or event.

What if Zhukov was killed or had never existed? It could have been better or worse for Stalin. Maybe Stalin would have lost power and been removed, or perhaps he would have gained power and have killed even more than the 20 million he killed. One never knows.

But it's always fun to ask these questions, because ultimately it allows us to learn more about history, and that's the treasure in Pandora's box.

1. It's hard to say....yes Zhukov was a skilled leader, but its hard to say what would have happened with anyone else in command
