should i apply for one or just wate to get one in the mail i was told thay send them to you like its the cool thing to do.

Unless you are on the list to not receive credit card offers, once you buy a house, you will probably receive a bunch of offers. If you pay off any type of loan, you will surely receive a bunch of credit card offers.
