New England. 3 Super Bowls.

2007-06-11 15:18:30 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 1

Best overall franchise of this decade? New England Patriots. "tuck rule" or not, they have 3 Superbowl championships this decade. Noone is going to win more trophies that the Pats this decade, and it will take back-to-back championships from one of the other teams to win the Superbowl this decade to even match that.

Best overall team? As it stands now, I'd have to say 04 Patriots, but it could easily be the 03 Patriots. However though I may be somewhat biased here, but with the 2000 Ravens defense as clearly dominant as it was being one of the best of all time, I think the 2000 Ravens would be capable of beating any of the Superbowl champions that came after them. Not to take anything away from the other superbowl champions though.

The New England Patriots have three Championships while no body else has multiple championships; therefore, the Pats are the best team of the decade thus far.

I'm a Buffalo Bills fan so it pains to me to admit it but I think the New England Patriots (ouch!!!!!!) are the best team of this decade. The scary think is that the Patriots have won Super Bowls with average players (the coaches are the key) so I can just about imagine who's going to be winning the Super Bowl this year with the talent they picked up this off season. Tom Brady reminds me of Dan Marino in the sense that he plays with determination and drive. I hated Dan Marino when he played for the Dolphins because whenever his team was down (especially when playing the Bills) he would always bring them back but it was the look of determination in his eyes that I hated the most because you knew he was going to get the job done. Tom Brady is just like that. Again, I hate the Patriots by default but I have to give it to them.......they do what it takes to win and that's why they are the best!

So far the New England Patriots. They have won 3 championships rings in this decade: 2001 2003 2004.

Well could you make it any more obvious you're a Pats fan? They're undoubtedly the best of this decade. As were the Cowboys of the 90's and the 49ers of the 80's and the Steelers of the 70's and the Packers of the 60's.

Anyone who puts anything else hasn't watched football for a decade. (although that guy that said the Cardinals did crack me up.)

New England...no question....

Somebody earlier pointed out the others through the 60's...Cowboys in the '90's, 49ers in the 80's, Steelers in the 70's and Packers in the 60's.

no doubt the Pats will have a heckuva shot to de-throne the current champion Colts with the offseason signings of Moss and Stallworth at wideout, too!...adding a fourth trophy and cement to the 2000-2010 all-decade team!

The most consistantly dominant has been the Colts, but because they kept getting owned by the Patriots( who then went on to barely win a game over a clearly inferior NFC team), they are not the best team of the decade. The Patriots are most dominant for winning the most Superbowls (Even though they won most of them because they had one of the greatest clutch kickers of all time) because Superbowls are all that matters

This is the happiest day of my life reading the posts of the Patriot-Haters! YES! I love this question. They have no choice but to admit the obvious truth... THE PATS.

Even their excuses are lame:

If you count SB wins than it's the Pats (what else are we counting?)

The Colts have been to the playoffs more (The Pats have more playoff wins... a lot more...)
PATS: 87-39
COLTS: 83-41

Man I love it. The best part is the Colts crumbled this off season and the Pats got real, real--real, real. Best team yet.
