Just do this: 53 mL x 0.79 g/mL = the mass of ethyl alcohol.

D=M/V where D is density, M is mass, and V is volume. so M= D*V therefore

Mass = 53 mL * 0.79 g/mL = 41.87 g

density = mass/volume

mass = 41.87g
