Month number 2 and no period yet. Hating the shot!!!?

Question

I am going crazy! I had been on the shot over 2 years and got off it in April and still no sign of a period. Anyone else having this problem? Solutions????

I've never been on the shot, but I've heard that it can take months... sometimes years... to get back to regular cycles. I think what you're going through is normal. Two months isn't a long time for your situation, give it a few more months and see what happens. It's too bad they don't tell you this when you chose this birth control option.

Are you trying to get pregnant? If not, you may want to use condoms until things get back to normal. If so, it will be hit and miss until you get some sort of cycle going. It's not impossible to get pregnant now, just more difficult. You may or may not be ovulating yet.

I tried the shot for the first time Jan 6 2007 and was on it til the end of march. I had bleeding for two days in april. Then May came and I had nothing. June comes and I start spotting brown June 3 and 4, and nothing on the the 5th, then I finally have a period the 6th through today, the 11th. Of course I only had one shot, so im sure its different for every women and depends on how long you were on the shot for. I didnt like it and didnt go back to get another one. I hope you get a positive pregnancy test soon! Good Luck! :)

I had the same problem. It will take awhile, depending on the person. It is only June. Give it a few more months. If you are trying to have a baby, do not use other form of birth control. If you do not wish to become pregnant at this time, use another method of birth control. Good luck.

I never had a period after going off it, was on it 10 years. Off it for 5 months total, then was pg. However had terrible migraines.

i am with you there i came off in the begining april too.....
no period yet either....

i hope your aunt flow turns up for you soon!!!!
