As they attack a team member they only lose focus and bring controversy upon themselves.Do you think that may be part true here? Is the election season and politics having an affect on the Hill?
No wonder not a darn thing gets done. Half are off campaigning for President and half could care less.

Gonzales is not politics as usual. I'm not defending Hillary, and I don't understand why you'd judge behavior on that standard. Puzzling.

Anyway, are you aware of Comey's testimony about Gonzales' gangster like behavior in doing the president's bidding and pressuring Aschcroft, nearly dying in ICU and NOT the acting AG, into violating the Constitution?

Gonzales is not business as usual. He is the gangster's lawyer. And he's stupid besides.

Best Gonzales quote? Maybe this one that I heard live on cspan - "The Constitution doesn't say every individual in the United States or every citizen is hereby granted or assured the right of habeas,'' Gonzales told Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Jan. 17. Gee, I'd rather here "I cannot recall."

Oddly enough, you are dimwitted enough to try to compare TOTAL military deaths from ALL causes in the Clinton years to deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan related to combat. You conveniently fail to mention that precious few of these deaths were due to hostilities.

Try reading the URL below to inform yourself a bit, and then learn to read something a bit more reputable than the New York Sun.

I'm not disagreeing with you there, but i hope you realize your numbers include the soldiers killed in Somalia, and Kosovo, not just terrorist attacks. And I'm not saying mission complete on those. But I've read alot of posts today refering back to the 90's, and U.S. deaths then, but no one mentions these.

Well I wasn't trying to compare deaths from era's, just pointing out that everyone forgets about these to missions. The death totals weren't high, but they shouldn't have been forgotten
