I am 14 weeks and also showing a little while. By my first baby the doctor wanted to take a sonogram right away because he suspected twins. He told me my uterus is very large. You probably have an enlarged uterus and just pop early. I actually carry quite small after the fifth month. I didn't gain any weight yet either. Just exercise and eat healthy. I am already wearing maternity for two weeks now. Good Luck!

I have the exact same problem, I am 7 weeks and i look about 4 months it is ridiculous.
I would perhaps make sure your diet is perfect and you are eating the correct amount of calories etc to make sure you arent putting on excess weight. Other than that there isnt much you can do about it - you will lose alot of it immediately after having the baby so dont stress out too much.
Perhaps go to your doctor for a check up and mention your concerns to him/her - just to put your mind at rest.
best of luck x

Well everyone "pops" at different times. I didn't start showing with my daughter until I was 4-5 months along, and I was HUGE, my mom, on the other hand, thought she was having twins when she was pregnant with me (she wasn't), because she popped at about 12 weeks, and she was rather small. I think you'll be just fine :)

I showed very early with my second baby as well and ended up with a tiny pot and no but when I was ready to deliver. Every woman is different and every pregnancy is different for every woman.
Just take care of yourself and try to remember that it takes only 300 extra calories a day to make a baby. Eat when hungry and try to eat healthy first and then enjoy your cravings.
Good luck and congratulations!

everyone carries differently. also, in early pregnancy bloating and gas account for some of the swelling in the abdomen. however, at 12 weeks the uterus has reached the belly button, so some "stuff" is pushed up to make room. alas, the rounded belly. basically my doctor chalks it up to hormones every time.
congrats and good luck!

Have you ruled out multiples yet?? That may be a possibility. Or maybe you are actually further along that you originally though? Or baby could just be hungry LOL

It's your second pregnancy that might be the reason why you're already showing.
