Has anyone noticed their baby reacts to the sound of candy being opened? It's funny, but it happened to me the other day at 27 weeks pregnant. It reminded me of my other kids when they hear me opening something to snack on. It tickled me and my husband because he saw my belly moving while he was opening a peice of candy.

The crackling sound of the wrapper might be very perceptible to a baby in the womb b/c it's sharp, high-pitched kind of sound. I know y'all got a good laugh out of it, though. The same type of thing happens after the baby is born. You sit down to supper and they wake up and cry. It's like an instinct!

I agree with Veritas. My son would move in the womb when he heard tissue paper rattling at his baby shower. When he was born he didn't like the sound and would start crying when he heard paper rustling or plastic crinkling.

That's a very charming coincidence, but just that -- a coincidence.
