Bush will be gone in a few years. Harry Reid will likely be around for years to come.

How can Dems keep in a leadership position a person who is so totally disapproved of? Dems, does this give you faith in your own party? Don't Dems care what people think?

It often seems to be of little consequence how unintelligent, incompetent, or incapable a Democratic candidate is. They just keep getting elected by voters who won't vote Republican, even when that candidate is far superior. For example, how did Geraldo Sandoval manage to get elected as San Francisco City Supervisor? This man must be one of the dumbest people alive. On Fox News Hannity & Colmes, he stated that the U.S. did not need a military. As loud-mouth Republican Sean Hannity started ridiculing him, the more sedate and unflappable Democrat Alan Colmes intervened on Sandoval's behalf and gave him chance after chance to amend his statement. I thought Sandoval would jump at the opportunity. I figured he just misspoke. However, this unbelievably stupid Liberal just kept repeating "The U.S. does not need a military". Again, Alan Colmes tried damage control, and suggested to Sandoval that maybe he meant to say something like, the U.S. does not need such a large army, or a standing army. But Sandoval persisted. That is what this inconceivably clueless Liberal believes. He said we could use our police force and the coast guard. If this guy didn't have a government job, he'd be lucky to work in a Walmart. Harry Reid? I'm surprised he can tie his shoes. He is practically as dumb as Sandoval? How about his cohort Pelosi? She's just an aging hippie chick. Seriously, if these people didn't have government jobs, if they actually had to be productive members of society, what would they be qualified for? Janitorial work? Fast food?

The only favorables that matter to Harry Reid are the ones in his home state. If he's still got high ratings there, he'll be around a long time. But I actually think he'll get ousted at the next chance.
