One of the lyrics of the Journey song "Don't Stop Believin'" is "workin' hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill". Tony finally got PHIL and we got a "thrill" from it. Too bad that was the only "thrill" of the episode. Another lyric in that song is "Some will win, some will lose, some of us will sing the blues". David Chase and HBO won, while we all lost and are singing the blues for a really disappointing finale.

The laast episode [at least in the Diner because he wouldn't take his family to a Diner and make them vulnerable after Phil got killed and the revenge expected] was a dream of tony's then he died in bed from the episode before it that it was an extention from. Too long to explain, but the onion rings were placed in all three mouths WHOLE in the same exact fashion as last communion wafers before they died, or before Tony died. He also imagined Meadow's parking problem so as to delay her from the massacre because she was his favorite. It was all from Tony's perspective. The clues are all there, including the "Dream" song that was playing when he entered the Diner... and the other symbolistic songs he played on the Juke box. and the 2 black guys walking in WERE in Tony's imagination as the same one's who tried to kill him [though one of them HE killed instead, way back] but he imagined them there too as coming back to haunt him & finish the job! [btw, The guy in bathroom didn't have to hide a gun as in Godfather, b/cuz they frisked pacino in GF, but not here in Diner]. Watch it again closely. It's all there.

Other then Phil's head being squashed under his own wife's SUV the show was very disappointing to me. Chase build the last 8 episodes up by all the killings just to let us down big time in the very last Soprano's show ever to air on HBO. In my opinion the only one that should be singing the blues is David Chase for letting a show like the Soprano's go off the air.
