I am not talking about renouncing his ownership, but instead letting Heyman run the creative side of things. Let it go back to being a developmental property with new guys and the hardcore style. It could go back to its home market of Philadelphia and be run on local stations like it used to be. The WWE would still "own" it, but all creative decisions would be made by Heyman. Think about waht Heyman did with Al Snow, Raven, and the Dudley's. Once the guys develop their characters, they could be called up to the Raw or Smackdown. Also, it would save Vince millions as he wouldn't have to pay the high price of having a second rate wrestling show on a cable channel.

I agree with you but unfortunately it doesn't look like that's going to happen:

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
There has been talk of bringing Paul Heyman back to television, but with no creative stroke at all. They want him to be a heel manager for a heel that is on the brink of being pushed reaching main event level status.

Vince is lukewarm to the idea, but it is still a near 180 turn on how he felt about him back in December when he said that he'd never be brought back. On the other hand, Michael Hayes, Bruce Prichard and Brian Gewirtz are arguing that it's a bad idea.

I hate Paul Heyman, but I hate ECW without him even more. You might be onto something.

It couldn't hurt the overall feel and "vibe" of what is known as ECW...it would breathe some much-needed life into it

I heard they were thinking of bringing him back "with no creative control" to manage a heel wrestler, kinda like he did with Brock Lesner.

NOT A CHANCE! Vince has many more plans for WWECW right now Just look at what's going on with the draft Even if Heyman was to return Vince would not put him back in power he would rather have him as a heel manager for some stupid reason but nonetheless WWECW is staying the way it is with Vince at the very top of everything Wich may i add
