No, you can do it yourself. Routers usually come with an owner's manual which has all the information you need. It is very easy to setup. If you are using Windows XP, it should be a snap. As for Geek Squad. Someone has already mentioned Geek Squad being in the news. Unfortunately, after being acquired by Best Buy, there are serious allegations against Geek Squad of charging for unnecessary services, among other things. They are also very expensive.

No.
All you do is hook your internet modem to your network router in the WAN slot, it's usually right next to the power input.
Hook up the ethernet cords from your other computer(s) to the network and run the network setup wizard, say you're connecting to the internet through a local area network.
then you should be set.
This saves you some money :)

No. Router set up procedure is pretty easy if you follow the instruction on the router manual.

no, all you need is several minutes to google for instruction, and off you can go do it by yourself. trust me, it's not that hard :)
