You can check at a local coin shop and find out exactly what it is worth. Do not be surprised, however, if what they will sell it for it two or three times as much as what they will pay you for it. Depending on condition and how rare it is (where it was minted and anything else distinguishing) it might be worth from a couple bucks up to a couple dozen bucks.
