Best Irish bar in LV is Hennessey's which is downtown at the East end of Fremont St. Worth the cab fare.
A bit closer, but still a cab drive away, is a British Pub called the Crown and Anchor. It is off of Tropicana.
I haven't been to this place, but they look good - maybe I'll check them out this weekend!

Titled Kilt in Rio - great busy bar, great bar food and waitresses in short skirts!
Nine Fine Irishmen is OK, but Crown and Anchor is better. Especially if you go during the soccer season as they show all Premiership games lives.
Crown and Anchor is located along East Tropicana Avenue.

Nine Fine Irishmen in the NY/NY is my favorite - it is south strip. The house band Sin e Ri Ra is fantastic! Get there a little early if you want to eat as well. I'm going back in two weeks!

Why would you go to Vegas and then go to an Irish bar?
Anyway, in genuine Irish bars (i.e. the ones in Ireland) you aren't allowed smoke, so the majority of Irish bars outside Ireland are not "real"
