Judging from the news headlines published on Yahoo, I would venture the guess that Yahoo caters to the far right wing Conservatives, also known as "bush-eees". Given all of the truly unthinkable things this president has done, the only thing that even makes any sense is all is that some Americans have been brain washed by the media. Journalism is bought and sold theses days just like any other commodity. I don't think all the people doing the thumbs down on negative Bush info are bad people or maybe not people with very different lives, rather they are people that have not yet cleared the fog that is being constantly blown at us. I for one hope people will never ever stop sharing their ideas, regardless of potential disapproval.
Just a little side thought.....this country was willing to impeach a commander and chief for inappropriate sexual behavior but we will tolerate skimming of billions of our dollars into the pockets of the elite and the loss of thousands of American lives and untold numbers of other innocent lives. I believe history will recall this president as the one that took America to its knees.Maybe history will also recall Yahoo as having a helping hand?????

If you take a look at the hateful tone of most of those kinds of posts, the answer is clear. I have some bad words about him--he has totally abandoned his responsiblity to protect U.S. workers from hordes of illegals who are driving down wages in my state. He also has made some obvious mistakes in Iraq, such as not initially having enough troops there to maintain order. Still, he has done some good work with the economy, and I note there has not yet been a successful new attack on us. He does deserve some credit. This is what is called a "balanced analysis." Too many are simply idealogues. Things are either all good or all bad. Real life is not that way.

There are many Bush supporters and Republicans prowling on this forum. Thus, thumbs down are indicated when statements are made criticizing him.

I've wondered the same thing. I'm very conservative, but have no respect for Bush and wonder why so many are willing to follow him. He holds no value as a so called "conservative" leader. I guess it's pretty much a case of the blind leading the blind.

because some folks are so blind and so naive they stiffle free speech by condeming/ridiculing those that speak out against what they believe.
