Wow, I can't believe you just asked such a loaded question.
When I was a teen, I had a very specific set of dreams and goals for myself:
#1. Custom-build my dream-house by the age of 30, at the latest.
#2. Get married to my dream-guy (children were absolutely no where in that scenario)
#3. Be financially secure enough so I could only work part-time, and spend the rest of my time pursuing personal interests such as fine art, writing, professional ballet dancing, volunteer work for causes such as the Humane Society, ASPCA, Amnesty International, etc.
And now.. I am 25, unmarried with a child. Poor as a pauper and all those naive dreams, those goals I had before are almost completely forgone. Not saying they can never be recaptured but... it would be a lot harder to get there from where I am now, than from where I was then... I'm not saying my life now is horrible but, it certainly is different than before!!

Things are better then I ever imagined, but truth be told, when I was a teen, I never got this far in thought...I always thought I'd have kids at home.

No I was a stupid teen, very naive. I never thought about the future, I just lived day to day! I wish I would of had the brains to plan for my futureâ¥j

I sure didnt think it would they way things are now. But I'm happy for the most part so its all good.
