HAMBURGERS? : in factory farms where the cows are slaughtered for your own pleasure, there is a place where they handle the guts.. well the line moves so fast that most of the workers dont have enough time to do it right. COW MANURE gets on to the meat. THATS RIGHT. every hamburger youve eaten has had portions of cow poo in it.

LIKE KFC? : kentucky fried cruelty. One day an investigator found roughly fifty redbirds-the ones who are scalded to death in defeathering tanks while they're still conscious. Other workers throw the chickens into walls like footballs and treat them so cruely. The birds are debeaked. then there throats are slit to drain out the blood. But most birds miss the throat slitting and go through the scalding which ishow RED BIRDS got to be. STILL WANT KFC? you have one twisted mind then.

736 million chickens killed per year so yes. These chickens throats DO get slit everyday. Im not pushing anyone into doing anything sorry if you feel that way im just mad at how cruel they have to be to do it. :[

When you stop to think of how we produce and process our meat supply, it can be upsetting. The most important thing to remember is that the food must be fully cooked to be safe.

And as for those individuals that enjoy animal cruelty.... there are now cameras in most animal farms and processing centers. The "bad guys" are being identified and will be prosecuted as defined by rules, regulations and laws.

I don't know where you live, but if you have a Chick-Fil-A by you, the chargrilled chicken sandwich is okay to eat. Also, look at some nutrition for Burger King. Their food tends to be a little better than other fast food places.

yes, those things are disturbing. but those things happen once in a blue moon. get over it- animal cruelty is a tough thing to face. but birds don't have there throats slit every day to get rid of the blood. it doesn't just happen like that often.

And yes i still want KFC, and my mind isn't twisted.

Ever heard of a thing called a RUMOR?

uh yeah, that's why I'm a vegetarian. If I knew the animals had a decent life and were killed quickly with minimal pain then I'd have a barbecue in a second. But stuff like this and worse goes on and I don't agree with it. And I know that not eating meat does little if anything to make a difference, but I like to think I create a little bit less demand which may result in a few less badly treated animals.

Unless you are growing and raising ALL your own food, things get into all kinds of food products, not just fast food.
And, just for the record, I am a big supporter of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals)!

Yes, I do love fast food.

I am not sure how much of the above is true, but the FDA and USDA regulate processors of food to make sure our food is safe.

Thanks. We appreciate the info.

I guess you'll never eat out - even at nicer establishments. Unless they slaughter their own meats, they are still at the mercy of their food suppliers.
