Easy; the wisdom of the East. How can you possibly try to put technology vs. wisdom? What can tech do for you? A lot, yes, but it's all physical. Lets refer, back to it's defination.. technology- tools in which to help make work easier. Wisdom- knowledge of life gained through observation and experiance. Wisdom is the true winner here without a doubt in mind. Mind over matter.

Define 'west' and 'east'. These are broad terms. Comparing country by country is probably the better way to proceed and especially at time critical intervals. I do not think all countries of the presumed 'west' or 'east' will want to be lumped together nor are they in any agreement.
Your question incites odd answers like the western bias above. And what makes 'east' wise? Your understanding of 'east' and 'west' is incomplete to say the least. Look at your cellphones? What is the most reliable car? Is it really the western car? Wisdom of east? It depends where you are and what you think is worth your time.

How can you compare technology to wisdom, they are like
( to use a cliche ) apples and oranges. Two completely different uses. So you cannot say which one is superior.

Buddhism would supposedly lead to the end of suffering of the self and of others...
Technology tries and succeeds in many cases, but fails in many as well and causes more problems.
Assuming the given benefits of the 'East' are true, then that is far more important. New ideas and horizons, easier living, etc. are unnecessary and fleeting.

Thats two choices.
How about what's superior the technology of the west vs the technology of the east? The west wins.
This illustrates the trend of thought being transformed into objects. Superior thought superior objects (technology)
Superior though also extends by it's direct nature to wisdom.
Which is superior, western wisdom or eastern wisdom? Depends if on your social status.
Poor people have things like this to waste their time worry about. Rich people find ways to keep themselves busy transferring wisdom to technology.
As long as the east fails to transform wisdom into technology it's all talk no action.
The west wins by default.

technology is superia in advancement of society but its also a degredation of society. becasue everyone wants everything faster so crops need to grow faster..... then you put technology in place of nature and eventually poison ourselves.
superier would be going natural and surviving and teaching your children how to use their hands along with their heads.. its common sence to be a hard working person..
