When I was umpiring and getting tired of the pitcher's antics I would stand , place my mask atop my head and stare for a number of seconds at the offender....when I was certain that he'd noted my displeasure with him I pulled down my mask and got into position for the next (ball) there were NEVER any strikes thrown after this ....petty yes...but he had been showing me up by acting out at my strike zone.and supposed squeezing of the same...trust me in 26 years I called a very pitcher friendly zone....tossed a high school pitcher that actually walked up to the plate, swept his glove across it then told his catcher "There ARE corners on it!"...milliseconds before I loudly announced "You're GONE!!!" capping that with a very emphatic stroke of my fist..

I usually get really quiet before I go off. Sometimes they might get an mean glare if I am trying to control my temper.

My face and neck turn red and I clutch my fist, but that usually takes me putting up with a lot of crap before I go ballistic.

My stare. It always scares people. Also when I tell a certain person that if they don't stop bugging me or whatever then I will either rip their intestines out and strangle them with them or else I say i will kill them. Then they leave me alone.

I start to shake. It's the mind struggling with the body's desire to choke the living **** out of someone that desperately needs it.
