I believe in the paranormal, but I don't mean to be paranoid. Is it possible for a work based on a true story about a group of teens' encounter with an angry little girl ghost to be cursed? No jokes, please.

Well I think that when you write a serious

...wait one sec, my cat is peeing on the tv...

I think it's more likely that your plagued by demons messing with you. Trying to get you to learn associative behavior, like Pavlov dogs drool to a bell.

Good luck.

Actually, that is extremely possible. I for one do believe in ghosts and other paranormal phenomena. Often I feel that spirits may be following me. I would say to make sure you out in some very kindly words about the little ghost girl in your story!

You should tell us more about the bad things that happen. Do you mean supernatural or paranormal occurences, such as things flying around in the room while you're writing?

Or are the events just normal things, such as having a flat tire, or losing a twenty dollar bill, or falling down the stairs while wearing flip-flops and carrying a laundry basket....etc, etc.

Are the events things that are likely to have happened whether you were writing the novel or not?

I'm inclined to believe it's just coincidence, or it could be that you are subconsiously bringing them about by not paying attention, being careless, etc. You may have "conditioned" yourself to bring about the bad luck, without realizing you were doing it.

Might be true. I know a couple of people who believe in ghosts, and they aren't crazy either. I thinks it's possible that there could be some ghosts, but if you think about it too much then I think it'll become worse if you don't like ghosts or anything freaky. Do what you think you should do, and follow your instincts on what to do about it.

"a true story about a group of teens' encounter with an angry little girl ghost "

Now, given that.....

"No jokes, please."

Seems terribly unfair. After all, you started it.
