I think it will be fine for a girl, but I know 3 guys named Skyler and no girls. Maybe consider switching the order to Hailey Skyler, that way you could call her both and just see which one suits her as she grows into herself. Some of the most beautiful people have not so beautiful kids, and you wouldn't want her to be teased throughout life if she isn't super girly. Good luck with deciding!!

I have seen boys and girls with the name skyler. Usually Skyler is the boy spelling and Skylar is the girl spelling. I personally think of a girl when I hear skyler.

I have a son named Skyler Mikel, but I have heard a few girls with the name also. Maybe make Skyler or Skye the middle name. Or change up the spelling: Skylar, Skielar, Skyelar, etc. I've seen it spelled tons of ways.

My first thought was girl... but I guess it could be a boy, too. Lots of names are for both boy and girl. I think Skyler is beautiful!!

I think of a girls name, mainly because I know a girl named Skyler but don't know any boys with that name.

Skyler is a unisex name and I've heard it for both girl and boy names. Personally, I think it's more a girl's name. From someone with personal experience on unisex names, be prepared to "correct" people when they mistakenly call your princess a prince.

I thought of a girl when I heard it. It's the name Sky that make me think of boy it more masculinity without the ler. But maybe you should be more open to options of something you can both agree on there's a thousand baby names check some out. Good luck andGod Bless. I'm due in Oct but I'm having a boy but if it was a girl I was thinking along the lines of Talia. Good luck

I think of a girl when I hear that name. If a boy was named that, I'd think he had a girly name. Maybe you could change the spelling a little and put an a (skylar) instead of an e. It looks more girly that way. Just a suggestion!
