Should I get one of those endless pools? I'm a good swimmer and I have to get a little leaner. A waste of money, and how long a day for it to work?

If you are a serious swimmer and can afford it, go for it!!! I train for endurance in an Endless Pool in the winter and I love the adjustability of the water pressue. Alot of the swimming I do involves currents and the Endless Pool allows me to stimulate this for well, endless distances!

As far as swimming to get leaner, you will have to go for 30 minutes 3 times a week to maintain your weight and tone your body. At 30 X 3, you will see a difference in 3 to 4 weeks. With the endless pool you won't see any different affects than a normal lap pool. However, the convenience of it may allow you to swim longer and the adjustable jets may force you to swim harder which will in turn be reflected in your body more noticably thought not much sooner than 3 weeks.

Good luck with your decision!

I would love one and think it would be the ideal exercise. But they are not cheap. If you think you would use it most everyday, then it would not be a waste of money.
