Yes, our poor brothers working as gas station attendants are being discriminated upon terms of lacking pay, prestige, & power. Have you noticed 99% of all attendants are men? How can these well to do women in BMWs driving in for gas leave our poor brothers in such distress? somebody do something ?

grow up.
im a gas station attendant training to manage the station. there are three women on staff who also serve customers gas.
the majority of people who require assistance at the station pumping gas are women, but this reflects upon them rather on us.
my job is to increase the number of customers returning to my specific service station by showing them the greatest level of competence service and professionalism.
if you are a service station attendant i would have to say that you are not a good candidate for promotion.

1) Everyone I know pumps their OWN gas. I don't even know where you cold go around here to get "service."
2) The people working INSIDE the gas station are cashiers, and they are just as likely to be women as they are to be men.

If it bothers you that much, move away from New Jersey, the only state where self serve is prohibited by law.
Or you could trade in your car for a bicycle or a horse.
